Hot Town...New York!

It's a pretty tragic confession to tell you that I've never been to New York City.  The lights, the art, the endless waves of creativity that pour through the streets...it all sounds like a dream come true!  A trip to the Big Apple is most certainly in my future.  For now,  I'll be inspired by these images of one of the most famous places in this big wide world.

Wanderlust Trippin'

One of my favorite things in the world is going on an epic (or mini) road trip.  The most memorable trip I've taken thus far was my cross country expedition from the coast of North Carolina to the coast of San Diego.  I had never been west of my native Texas!  Seeing the familiar green morph into the dusty desert was so much fun!  That trip changed me.  I was also amazed at the beauty of the California coast when I drove up to San Francisco via the famous Highway 1.  I discovered one of my favorite spots, Big Sur, on that trip.  Truly awesome.  I look forward to a lifetime of road warrior journeys ahead of me as I take a moment to be inspired by these fun photos of fellow wanderlust road trippers.  What is your most memorable road trip?  What does your dream route look like?

Burning Man.

I live for festivals.  I love letting go of my daily responsibilities, escaping to an open space far away from home, and sharing the creative freedom of festival life with my fellow festival goers.  I have never been to Burning Man Festival, but I want to go oh so badly!  I'm almost intimidated by the level of freedom and self expression that, as an outsider,  I see take place at this thing!  Crazy for sure...but probably crazy fun.  It's on my bucket list!  Has anyone been to this and what was your experience?  I'd love to hear all about it.

Hot Town...Paris!

Ah, Paris.  What a beautiful, cultured, charming city!  I studied French for five years and absolutely adored learning about French culture.  Break some bread, steal a sip of your red wine, and take in these gorgeous photos.  J'adore!
