Music feeds my soul.

I had an idea the other day.  A mission, if you will.  I now declare 2012 as...

...wait for it...



That's right.  The year of the festival!! My goal is to go to as many music festivals as I possibly can.  I am not putting limits on this.  I am open to all sorts of magical invitations to festivals, free tickets, road trips, outlandish music...you name it! 

I specifically want to go to:
-Coachella
-Bonaroo
-South by Southwest
-Outside Lands
-Stagecoach

I'm open to much, much more.  Let's not keep this thing inside the country, either!  Take me away!!

(Whew...I get very excited when I start thinking about "The year of the festival!")

Burning Man.

I live for festivals.  I love letting go of my daily responsibilities, escaping to an open space far away from home, and sharing the creative freedom of festival life with my fellow festival goers.  I have never been to Burning Man Festival, but I want to go oh so badly!  I'm almost intimidated by the level of freedom and self expression that, as an outsider,  I see take place at this thing!  Crazy for sure...but probably crazy fun.  It's on my bucket list!  Has anyone been to this and what was your experience?  I'd love to hear all about it.
