Fabric Covered Bangle DIY

This is a really fun and easy DIY project!  All you need is an old bangle that doesn't quite fit your style anymore, a hot glue gun with loaded glue sticks, a stretch of scrap fabric, and scissors for fabric cutting.

Cut the fabric a few inches wide and long enough to wrap around the entire length of your bangle, with a little fabric left over just in case.

Next, fold the fabric around your bangle so that it connects on the inside and looks seamless on the outside of the bangle.  Hot glue along the inside, wrapping and gluing the fabric as you go.  I would glue a little line on the inside, wrap the fabric, secure in place, continue gluing and wrapping, and so on.

Ta-da! You have a new bangle to rock...upgrade!

(I use a tall vase to store my bangles!)

  1. I love this! I was actually just admiring some fabric covered bangles in a boutique in Detroit. Really cool idea!
